KEY THEMES

ENSURING OUR KEY THEMES ARE AT THE FOREFRONT

The key UKREiiF themes will allow us to connect people, places and businesses – helping to accelerate and unlock sustainable, inclusive and transformational investment.

We have a busy programme of activity for UKREiiF focused on numerous themes – all of which are embedded not only into the 3-day annual event, but also our 365-forum activity as we share news, generate content, forge partnerships and promote these agendas. Below provides an overview of some of the activity we’re doing.

SUSTAINABILITY AND NET ZERO

Sustainability is a key thread running throughout UKREiiF – not only do we have dedicated areas and stages to the topic, but we’re also actively promoting a more carbon-friendly mindset. From achieving ISO 20121 Sustainable Events Management certification, to working with Moda and Caddick to offsite all UK travel emissions, to procuring more locally and ensuring none of our waste goes to landfill.

FUTURE OF REAL ESTATE

UKREiiF will be ensuring it looks at the future of the industry and the future communities we live in. Content will look at promoting technology and innovation within the industry to drive us to a more sustainable and inclusive nation – whilst getting insight from younger generations to ensure regeneration and development achieves the needs of our future communities.

SOCIAL VALUE & EDI

At the heart of UKREiiF will be social value – ensuring that those in attendance, who are primarily the key influencers when investing and developing in new locations, have social value and long term social impact on their mind. We measure social value generated from the event – which has topped £3m – the first time an events company has monitored social value at an event and looked to increase local and social impact.

INWARD INVESTMENT

The big cities and regions will all be at UKREiiF – but UKREiiF aims to be incredibly inclusive, not just in terms of individuals but also the companies. We are working with companies and authorities small, medium and large to ensure investment is spread across the UK, whilst a focus on inclusive and sustainable investment will be at the fore.
