This event will enable the UK to Build Back Better, connecting investors, developers, the public sector, funders and end-users to inward investment, create new relationships and unlock inclusive economic growth.

The UK needs a platform for the public sector to showcase the scale of development progress and profile future investment opportunities to investors, developers and occupiers from around the globe that is based right here in the UK.

In addition we’re focused on several key themes: the UK’s Net Zero Target, Social Value and Inclusive Growth, The Future of Real Estate, Building Better Communities and a focus on inward investment via our Investor Centre.

To showcase the desire for this platform we’ve announced a number of supporters who’ve already backed this game-changing forum.

With the ‘Build Back Better’ agenda being front and centre of Government policy, local authorities are under increasing pressure to do more regeneration work and bring around positive change. As part of this session delegates will hear from investors, councils and Whitehall voices about different ideas in the realm of development funding, especially in a post-pandemic world where funding could be restricted.

The UKREiiF Awards Dinner (Tuesday 17th May) which will bring together those organisations who’re playing an important role in the Build Back Better agenda across the UK.

The Awards Dinner will take place on one of the evenings of the event.

Awards will be presented on a number of categories voted for by the UKREiiF Advisory Group chaired by Lord Bob Kerslake.

Delegates will be able to attend through single tickets or by purchasing tables of ten. These can be purchased here in addition to your UKREiiF event ticket.

UKREiiF will take across three days in Leeds City Centre at the Royal Armouries and New Dock on the following days:

The venue is easy to access by car, train or plane.

Travelling to the venue

By train – The venue is located in close proximity to Leeds Train Station (0.8 miles) with an easy walking route through the city or options for bus, taxi or water taxi nearby. Direct services run to Leeds from all major cities and for more information you can click here for the National Rail website.

By car – There are numerous car parks across Leeds City Centre however the closest is the CitiPark at New Dock which is the most environmentally friendly multi-storey in the UK with over 1,600 spaces. The address is CitiPark, Armouries Drive, LS10 1LE and you can click here to pre-book your car parking space.

By plane – The closest airport is Leeds Bradford Yorkshire’s Airport with frequent bus transport and taxi’s available from the airport to the city centre. Other airports in close proximity include Manchester Airport with a direct route from the Airport to Leeds train station.

Places to stay

As thousands are set to descend on the city of Leeds for this event we’re working with numerous hospitality and hotel providers to reserve beds for the period of the event from Monday 16th May 2022 – Friday 20th May 2022.

Further hotels will be added to the recommended hotels list once we have secured additional bed space and discounts for UKREiiF attendees.

Places to eat and drink

We’ve also created an easy guide to some of the city’s best restaurants and bars for those travelling into Leeds. There is an array of options and many of these have private dining available too – enabling you to take out clients, run fringe events and do further business outside of UKREiiF.
