We have numerous elements of work that are set to feed into this to ensure both we and our Future of Real Estate Partner JLL provide world leading thought leadership, knowledge transfer and inspiration. FUTURE OF REAL ESTATE PAVILION We will have a dedicated Pavilion at the event, with the agenda shaped between ourselves, our Advisory Group and the Pavilion sponsor – which in 2022 and 2023 was JLL. The Pavilion will include numerous activities and content, from inspirational speeches and keynotes, panel discussions and workshops – with leading figures and influential voices from many blue-chip firms, developers, investors joining local and regional authorities, and Government officials. THE ROLE OF TECH IN ACHIEVING NET ZERO The Government’s 2050 Net Zero Target isn’t achievable without the construction, real estate and property industry making major changes in the way we plan, build, develop and manage. One of the key strands of our forum will be on sustainable and the net zero agenda, and whilst look at how PropTech, FinTech, Data and other innovative solutions and products can help our industry tackle our carbon emissions, which makes up a large percentage of the UK’s emissions. THE PITCH @ UKREiiF Working with key partners we’re bringing a ‘Dragons Den’ style format to UKREiiF where start-ups and new products which tackle key challenges like the net zero agenda will share their solutions to a panel of ‘Dragons’. Those shortlisted will present at UKREiiF whilst also receiving a free pop-up station and tickets to enable them to showcase their products to the industry.
