DRIVING INCLUSIVE INVESTMENT

BOOSTING AND ACCELERATING INCLUSIVE, SUSTAINABLE AND TRANSFORMATIONAL INVESTMENT ACROSS THE UK

UKREiiF aims to drive inclusive investment and economic growth. Not only are we positioning ourselves with the largest cities and regional authorities across the UK – but we’re also actively working and speaking to smaller local authorities to ensure their opportunities are promoted and shared. We’re utilising many tools to do this including private facilitation meetings where we connect investors, developers and end-users directly to local authorities to create positive discussions that bring forward fresh investment and regeneration in their regions.

INVESTOR & DEVELOPER FACILITATION

At UKREiiF, we host exclusive private events for the towns, cities, and regions backing the event.

We create a dedicated space with tables arranged for our local authority partners, providing an ideal setting to connect with carefully selected investors, developers, and end-users. This format ensures high-quality, focused conversations that drive real outcomes.

The response has been outstanding – through these sessions alone, we’ve facilitated over 800 targeted meetings between local authorities and investors. This is in addition to the broader programme of events and strategic introductions we deliver across the wider site.

INVESTMENT FOR ALL

UKREiiF isn’t just about the big cities – it’s true that London, Belfast, Cardiff, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle and many more have signed up!

But we’ve also got representatives heavily involved from many smaller authorities who are keen to have their voice heard.

We’ve set the costs for UKREiiF to allow involvement no matter the size of your location – whilst putting a price freeze in place for local authorities and regions.

DEPARTMENT FOR BUSINESS & TRADE

UKREiiF has consistently welcomed the attendance and support of the UK Investment Minister. Recent representatives include the current Minister, Baroness Poppy Gustafsson, her predecessor Lord Dominic Johnson, and Lord Gerry Grimstone before him. Each has expressed strong backing for UKREiiF, recognising its vital role in connecting industry leaders and investors with opportunities across the UK.

Our close collaboration with the Department for International Trade has been instrumental in attracting over 100 international investors to UKREiiF, alongside a significant domestic presence.

Their involvement goes far beyond attendance. With a dedicated UKREiiF Pavilion, exclusive VIP events, and a wide range of other high-profile initiatives, the Department plays an integral role in the event’s success and impact.

£17.6M LOCAL ECONOMIC IMPACT

Each year, we commission a comprehensive impact report by ARUP to measure the value UKREiiF delivers to the local economy and community. Beyond the substantial investment and development deals facilitated through the event, the report highlights UKREiiF’s growing economic contribution to Leeds.

In 2022, the event generated £5.5 million for the local economy. This figure more than doubled to £12.1 million in 2023 and rose again to an impressive £20.9 million in 2024. In total, UKREiiF has contributed £38.5 million to the Leeds economy since 2022, and that number is set to grow even further following our 2025 event.

INVESTMENT SUCCESS STORIES

An impressive 83% of attendees have secured investment, won contracts, or achieved tangible outcomes as a direct result of their participation in UKREiiF. The event has played a pivotal role in unlocking over £2 billion in projects and investment, firmly establishing itself as a key driver of economic growth across the UK.

At its core, UKREiiF is about making meaningful connections, and in 2023, we celebrated a landmark success story. Our first official case study revealed that UKREiiF was instrumental in facilitating a £100 million+ investment into Torbay. Working closely with local stakeholders, we helped structure and package four strategic sites across the region, making them more attractive to potential investors. By guiding the process, from initial introductions and site packaging to hosting investor visits and coordinating discussions, we successfully connected Torbay Council with major development partners. This culminated in a £100 million+ deal with Milligan and Willmott Dixon, announced in 2023.
