Thrive have confirmed its involvement with The UK’s Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF), which is set to take place between 21-23 May, in Leeds.

Founded by Rise Construction Framework (Rise), Thrive is a Community Interest Company that connects young people furthest away from the job market with employers across Liverpool City Region. Thrive’s primary goal is to help care leavers and young people with experience of the justice system live happy, safe and fulfilling lives by supporting their journey into employment whilst working with supply partners and specialist providers to remove barriers to employment.

The collaboration between UKREiiF and Thrive seamlessly reflects UKREiiF’s unwavering commitment to championing diversity and inclusivity. Together with Thrive, UKREiiF is proactively advancing a collective vision for an inclusive industry. This partnership underscores a shared dedication to cultivating an environment where a diverse array of voices and perspectives is not just acknowledged but genuinely embraced and honoured. UKREiiF and Thrive are actively catalysing a cultural transformation, elevating inclusivity beyond a mere buzzword to establish it as a dynamic and celebrated reality within the industry.

Speaking of their involvement Sara Lawton, Director of Rise Construction Frameowork and Founder of Thrive said “We are delighted to be working with Built Environment Networking at this years UKREiiF. It feels very fitting to be working with the team as when we launched Thrive the BE team supported us by providing the resources and technical expertise we needed to host over 200 people at a digital conference with guest speakers including Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram, Chief Fire Officer Phil Garrigan OBE and Crown Representative for the VCSE sector Claire Dove OBE. Since our launch Thrive has supported 1000’s of young people helping to diversify workplaces across the Region whilst securing opportunities for young people who have not always had the best start in life.

Nathan Spencer, Director at UKREiiF, said: “We’re thrilled to announce that Thrive will be joining us at the third annual UKREiiF event. Their dedication to connecting young people with employment opportunities aligns seamlessly with our mission to champion diversity and inclusivity in the real estate and infrastructure sectors. By collaborating with Thrive, we are not only advancing a shared vision for an inclusive industry but also actively contributing to a cultural transformation within our sector.”

Led by the UK’s leading property events company Built Environment Networking and supported by some of the biggest UK property and infrastructure companies, the third annual UKREiiF event will be held in Leeds on 21-23 May 2024. The forum will attract inward investment, generate economic growth, and drive a more sustainable and inclusive culture within the property and construction industries.
