Beachrock has announced its role in orchestrating the sale of a purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) portfolio valued at £90 million, offering 1,494 student bed spaces across prime university cities in the UK. Each individual bed space in the collection is valued at £60,000, presenting an attractive proposition for investors.

The portfolio encompasses seven assets situated in key academic hubs. Corporation Village, Burges House, Pillar Box, and Market Way – all in Coventry – are currently listed, along with Clarendon Street in Nottingham, bringing the total to over 800 beds. Additionally, the portfolio includes Castle Street in Cambridge and The Moor in Sheffield.

The sale comes at a time when the West Midlands is experiencing a surge in global recognition for its higher education institutions, increasing the region’s attractiveness to international investors keen on supporting the growth and success of these academic powerhouses.
