Mott MacDonald, the global engineering, management and development consultancy, has been announced as the official EDI & Youth Pavilion Partner ahead of UKREiiF 2023 – set to take place between 16-18th May 2023.

Building on from the success of the inaugural UKREiiF, the event is growing in size with additional stages and content, and over 6,000 delegates expected to attend. One of the new stages is the EDI & Youth Pavilion, which will see three-days of activity taking place.

The Pavilion will host a number of activities, from workshops to keynotes and panel discussions. Mott MacDonald will be working alongside event organisers Built Environment Networking to ensure the Pavilion provides a platform to improve diversity in our industry.

Anna Sirmoglou, Mott MacDonald’s UK and Europe Equality Lead, said: “I am thrilled that we are supporting the delivery of the EDI and Youth Pavilion, as it facilitates diverse participation and helps amplify the voices of those who are under-represented in the industry.  Along with robust EDI strategies, such events can help shift the cultural disparities in the sector to enable lasting positive change.”

Nathan Spencer, Director at UKREiiF, added: “I’m truly excited to be working with Mott MacDonald on delivering the EDI & Youth Pavilion and I cannot wait to see the programme develop. It’s crucial that at events like UKREiiF, where there are so many influencers and C-Suite decision makers, we ensure there is diversity within the conversation – both on stage and within the audience – and this is just another element of what we’re doing to ensure that happens.”

“This Pavilion builds on the excellent work we did in the inaugural year, and we’re once again going to be partnering with some of the UK’s leading industry groups who’re driving the EDI agenda to deliver a programme packed with important knowledge share, impactful talks and opportunities for young people to facilitate with industry leaders.”

Led by property events company Built Environment Networking and supported by some of the biggest UK property and infrastructure companies, the annual UKREiiF event will be held in Leeds on 16-18 May 2023. The forum will attract inward investment, generate economic growth and drive a more sustainable and inclusive culture within the property and construction industries.
