Forshaw Land & Property Group has secured a £64.2 million development loan from Maslow Capital to fund its flagship mixed-use residential scheme, VIVERE Residences and Aparthotel, in Cornbrook, Manchester. This 24-storey development marks Forshaw’s largest residential project to date and represents a significant milestone in the city’s regeneration efforts.

Situated on a prime 1-acre site adjacent to VOX Manchester and the Cornbrook Metrolink, VIVERE will serve as a vital gateway into Manchester city centre. The scheme, designed by Leach Rhodes Walker architects, reflects the industrial heritage of the area and forms a key part of the broader Manchester Waters masterplan, an initiative to transform the brownfield site into a vibrant community hub.

The development will include:

  • 224 apartments (featuring a mix of one- to six-bedroom units)
  • Five high-end penthouses with private terraces
  • An 87-room aparthotel
  • A coffee bar and retail spaces

Forshaw acquired the site from Peel Waters, which is overseeing the master planning of Manchester Waters. The project will provide much-needed housing and amenities for the growing city.

Maslow Capital, a leading lender in Northern real estate, cited the strength of Forshaw’s vision and Manchester’s robust property market as key factors in their support for the project. This financing deal underscores confidence in Manchester’s continued growth as a leading destination for urban development.

Construction is set to bring this transformative vision to life, further solidifying Cornbrook’s role as a vibrant gateway to the city.
