Commonplace have confirmed their participation at The UK’s Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF), which is set to take place between 16-18 May, in Leeds.

Commonplace is an engagement and insight solution for cities, used by local authorities, developers, housing associations, transport organisations, neighbourhood planning groups and community groups to improve community engagement surrounding new development plans – creating constructive and collaborative relationships that offer mutual benefits for developers and people.

As well as their presence at the exhibition hall, Commonplace is also taking to the stage for an important session on sustainable future. The session, at Wellington Suite Stage  on 17th May is titled “Putting the S in ESG: Building a Sustainable Future with Your Community”. In the session Commonplace will lead a deep-dive into how businesses working collaboratively with communities can improve the efficiency of development. Commonplace’s work shows collaborative processes  with a more grassroots approach to housing issues such as improving energy efficiency can also improve long-term social outcomes – putting the S into the ESG agenda.

Speaking of their involvement, Co Founder David Janner Klausner said “Commonplace’s team are very excited to come back to UKREiiF in 2023. Last year we found it to be lively and very useful for engaging with the development industry – both private and public sectors. Our message resonated and we are delighted that the social and environmental issues are at the heart of UKREiiF as they are the key to everyone’s sustainable future.”

Keith Griffiths, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of UKREiiF, said: “Following on from a successful first year, Commonplace will return to UKREiiF’s exhibition hall and to deliver a keynote session to a plethora of investors, developers, local authorities and occupiers – we look forward to working with Commonplace in the lead up and during the event.”

Led by property events company Built Environment Networking and supported by some of the biggest UK property and infrastructure companies, the annual UKREiiF event will be held in Leeds on 16-18 May 2023. The forum will attract inward investment, generate economic growth, and drive a more sustainable and inclusive culture within the property and construction industries.
