City Life and Torsion Group have successfully secured a £54 million loan from Maslow Capital to fund the development of Sky Gardens, a 32-storey student accommodation project in Leeds.

The Sky Gardens development will deliver 660 premium student rooms, offering a mix of studios and cluster apartments. Designed with student living in mind, the project includes a host of modern amenities, such as a fitness studio, games room, multimedia and cinema rooms, laundry facilities, multiple lounges, study spaces, and private rooftop gardens.

Situated in Leeds’ northern Arena Quarter, close to the city’s universities, Sky Gardens is part of a growing trend of tall, innovative developments in the area. This project underscores the increasing demand for high-quality, purpose-built student accommodation in prime city-center locations.

The successful funding highlights continued investor confidence in the UK’s thriving student housing sector, particularly in university hubs like Leeds. Sky Gardens is poised to set a new standard for student living in the city.
