Liverpool-based developer Brantones, known for its work in retirement, affordable, and supported living schemes, has expanded its operations through the acquisition of two local companies, Robwood Construction and Robwood Residential. The announcement was made alongside news of a significant restructure within the company.

The two acquired firms were previously owned by Kyriacos Zangoulos, a British Cypriot based in Cyprus. With these new assets, Brantones has established the Brantones Group, aiming to extend its reach into refurbishment and other minor works alongside its existing projects.

Lee Birkett, owner and director of Brantones, expressed enthusiasm about the integration of the new companies into the group. He highlighted that this expansion provides a solid foundation for what he anticipates to be a “period of rapid growth” for the company, which has been operational since 1990.

Brantones has a history of collaboration with several of the UK’s leading housing associations, such as First Choice Homes and Warrington Housing Association, as well as working with the NHS and various charitable organizations. The company is now looking to increase its project scope within the Liverpool city region.

“These acquisitions not only expand our capacity but enhance our capabilities, allowing us to continue delivering top-quality housing solutions across the north west and beyond,” said Birkett. He also teased several exciting projects in the pipeline for 2024, indicating a promising future for the newly formed Brantones Group.
