Bevan Brittan have announced their involvement with the UK’s Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF), which is set to take place between 16-18 May 2023 in Leeds.

Top 100 commercial law firm Bevan Brittan provide a comprehensive range of legal services from offices in Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds and London – advising businesses and local government across a range of sectors including construction, property, energy, infrastructure, housing and health and social care.

Bevan Brittan have joined the fringe event programme at UKREiiF, where they are set to host a breakfast and networking session, followed by a panel discussion on District Heat and Sustainability – how can we decarbonise and what’s in the pipeline.

Speaking of their involvement, Nathan Bradberry, partner and head of the firm’s infrastructure practice said:

“Heating is a significant contributor to the UK’s carbon footprint. Currently about 80% of our heating comes from gas and other fossil fuels. Heat networks provide a flexible infrastructure for a range of heat sources and have an important role to play in the drive for a low carbon agenda.

“Our discussion will look at how we can decarbonise – currently one of the most widely talked about topics in the industry.  That’s why I’m delighted to be joined by a prestigious panel of thought-leading speakers: Ruth Rule, Director at Energy Direction Limited, Dr. Scott Elliot, Chief Operating Officer at Hydrock, George Munson, Energy and Climate Change Manager at Leeds City Council and John Saunders, Strategic Development Director at 1Energy. I’m sure we’ll have an interesting debate.”

Keith Griffiths, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of UKREiiF, said: “We’re thrilled to have Bevan Brittan supporting UKREiiF.

“We look forward to giving them the opportunity to share their best practice and thoughts on sustainability with the UKREiiF delegates.”

Led by property events company Built Environment Networking and supported by some of the biggest UK property and infrastructure companies, the annual UKREiiF event will be held in Leeds on 16-18 May 2023. The forum will attract inward investment, generate economic growth, and drive a more sustainable and inclusive culture within the property and construction industries.
