Anwyl Homes Acquires 12.6-Acre Site for Major Residential Development in Warrington

Anwyl Homes is pleased to announce the acquisition of a significant 12.6-acre parcel of land within the Omega mixed-use development site in Warrington. This acquisition marks an important step in Anwyl’s continued expansion and commitment to delivering high-quality homes across the North West.

The newly acquired site was formerly part of the 600-acre RAF Burtonwood airbase, a key historical landmark now being transformed as part of the Omega development. Anwyl Homes plans to build over 150 new homes, contributing to the ongoing redevelopment of this important location. The Omega site is recognized as the largest mixed-use development site in the North West and plays a critical role in Warrington’s future growth and regeneration.

The land was purchased from Omega Warrington Ltd (OWL), a subsidiary of M2 Group Ltd (trading as Miller Developments), with the deal finalized on September 30, 2024. Although the purchase price has not been disclosed, the acquisition underscores Anwyl Homes’ commitment to investing in the region and enhancing the local housing market.

This latest project aligns with Anwyl’s broader strategy of providing high-quality residential housing, supporting local economic growth, and contributing to the transformation of the former RAF site into a vibrant, modern community.
