The proposed transformation of a Birmingham brownfield site into 600+ student units seem likely to be greenlit.

Fusion Birmingham Devco wants the go-ahead to build on land west of Bristol Road and north of Stone Road,  the former site of The Trees Pub.

The construction will comprise of four linked blocks up to 17 storeys.

The 620 units will consist of cluster flats, studios, , twodios social studios and one-bed flats.

Birmingham council have indicated that the scheme will be approved.
