Housing & Residential: £600m JV Westminster plan February 13th, 2023 Mya Driver Westminster City Council is moving ahead with plans for for a housing estate renewal project in the Marylebone Church Street market area.Plans involve redevelopment of three major sites to build over 1,100 new homes, with a minimum 50% affordable.This will involve full demolition of the huge Church Street estate neighbourhood.Blocks of approximately 400 homes will be demolished.Westminster Council submitted revised plans for the area and detailed plans for site A phase one.It has also started looking for a joint venture development partner for the project, worth between £250m and £280m.The potential estimated value of all the sites under the planned future sites agreement is envisioned to be £600m, also comprising site B (£209m), site C (circa £102m) and market works (£4.5m).
