Commercial and Offices: South East Planning permission granted for 600 new homes in Hampshire September 15th, 2022 Mya Driver Planning permission for 600 new homes has been greenlit as part of the redevelopment of Aldershot town centre.The proposals include the demolition of The Galleries, The Arcade shopping centres and the High Street car park.The redevelopment will see 596 flats built as part of a large complex that will contain 17 buildings in four quadrants, ranging in height from four to 12 storeys.Of these, 330 will be one bedroom and 266 two bedrooms, while with current retail space will be retained in addition 13 new commercial units.The plans come from The Shaviram Group who will also develop a public square, and 250 public car-parking spaces.
