67 homes could be built on the site of Victoria Park Probation Centre off Laindon Road in Longsight, Manchester.

The proposals, submitted by Britannia Group, are the subject of a public consultation, will feature 33 apartments and 34 houses.

11 of the homes would be affordable, as prescribed by Manchester City Council’s 20% affordable housing rules.

Situated on the corner of Laindon Road and Daisy Bank Road, the site is currently home to a probation centre, which will be demolished.

Once a planning application is submitted this autumn, work could start in spring 2023, subject to approval.

Avison Young is the consultant for the project.

This follows Britannia Group’s approval in 2020 to redevelop the Tatton Arms pub in Northenden into 28 apartments.
