About

What is Education & Place Day @ UKREiiF?

Held on Thursday 20 May 2027 during UKREiiF in Leeds, Education & Place Day spotlights the people, projects and partnerships shaping education estates and place-making across the UK. The programme explores education as a catalyst for wider regeneration, the drive to decarbonise the education estate, and how skills and opportunity are built into successful places, from campus masterplanning and estates development through to the purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) that underpins a thriving student population.

Education infrastructure is increasingly recognised as central to the UK’s economic recovery, not a sector apart from it, and this day is where universities, colleges and estates leaders meet the developers and investors who can help deliver that vision, across campus development, wider estates strategy and the PBSA pipeline needed to support it. As part of UKREiiF’s £300bn+ opportunity pipeline and 16,000-strong delegate community, Education & Place Day is where the next wave of campus and place-based investment gets shaped.
