Royal London Asset Management is progressing a £100m residential‑led redevelopment of its former Royal London campus in Wilmslow, Cheshire, delivering a major build‑to‑rent scheme designed to address rising demand for high‑quality homes in Cheshire East. The plans include approximately 286 build‑to‑rent properties supported by new public realm, resident amenities and enhanced natural landscapes.

The project aims to transform the underused site into a contemporary “living campus,” combining new homes with accessible green spaces and community‑focused facilities. Proposed amenities include a café, gym, concierge services and dedicated parking, contributing to a self‑contained residential environment.

A key element of the scheme is the integration of the site’s natural assets into the redevelopment. The design retains mature trees, woodland areas and the existing lakefront, creating a landscape‑led layout that encourages wellbeing and supports local biodiversity. The approach aligns with wider objectives to deliver sustainable development across Cheshire East.

The redevelopment forms part of RLAM’s broader investment in modern residential communities and is expected to play a meaningful role in supporting Wilmslow’s long‑term housing needs. By revitalising a prominent site and providing new public spaces, the scheme aims to contribute to the continued regeneration and economic growth of the area.
