The UK’s Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF) have announced that The Great Housing Development Summit will take place as part of its annual event, held in Leeds from 19–21 May.

Hosted by the Housing & Development Network (HDN) and the National Sales Group (NSG), the Housing Development Summit is dedicated to housing policy, funding, delivery, and the long-term stewardship of new homes. Positioned at the heart of the UK’s leading real estate, infrastructure, and investment event, the Summit brings together senior leaders from housing associations, council-owned housing companies, local authorities, developers, investors, and government.

Focused on one defining challenge, how the UK delivers 1.5 million new homes, the Summit spans three days of debates, workshops, roundtables, and curated networking. It is designed to move beyond commentary and into action, creating a collaborative space where the public and private sectors can work together to drive real progress.

Access to The Great Housing Development Summit requires a UKREiiF 2026 ticket, which also provides entry to the wider three-day UKREiiF programme. Discounted rates are available for HDN and NSG members.

Andy Watts, CEO, Cast Group, Founder, The National Sales Group, The Housing & Development Network and The Housing Development Summit, said: “The Housing Development Summit was created to bring the people who deliver homes into the same room – councils, housing associations, investors, developers, and government. If we are serious about delivering 1.5 million homes, we must share knowledge, remove friction and work together at pace. This Summit is about learning from each other, forming real partnerships, and building new places where everyone can live and genuinely call home.”

Matt Christie, Director of External Affairs and Programme at UKREiiF, said: “This partnership with HDN is yet another evolution of the UKREiiF agenda, taking on board feedback from delegates who are keen to hear from thought leadership, market intelligence and innovative ideas from the affordable housing sector. It’s exciting to be working with Andy, Toby, James, Felicity and the rest of the team to bring this to life, their base at UKREiiF will be a hub of c-suite leaders from registered providers, council owned housing companies and other parts of the affordable housing ecosystem.”
