A partnership made up of Enterprising Cumbria, Cumberland Council and Westmorland & Furness Council have announced their involvement with The UK’s Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF), which is set to take place between 20 – 22 May 2025, in Leeds.

The partners have secured a dedicated pavilion at UKREiiF, providing a prime opportunity to spotlight their region. This dedicated space will host a variety of activities, including thought-provoking discussions, engaging panel sessions, interactive events, and strategic networking opportunities. By leveraging this platform, the authority aims to connect with potential investors and forge partnerships with future business collaborators, showcasing the region’s strengths and opportunities on a prominent stage.

Speaking of their involvement, David Beeby, Chair of Enterprising Cumbria, said: “As a new partnership, we are delighted to be showcasing all that Cumbria has to offer. We are a region rich with opportunities for a wide range of investors and businesses. We look forward to working with our council partners to promote our region.”

Leader of Cumberland Council, Cllr Mark Fryer, added: “Cumberland and the wider region are prime locations for business, and there never has been a better time to be part of our economic growth. UKREiiF is a great chance to tell our story and welcome the thousands of conference attendees to our stand and showcase events. Come and see how you can be part of our Cumberland story.”

Councillor Jonathan Brook, Leader of Westmorland and Furness Council, said: “We are delighted to be attending UKREiiF again next year, in partnership with Cumberland Council and Enterprising Cumbria. Our offer is now both bigger and better! This is a truly exciting time, with major development and investment opportunities for us to share. Anybody interested in gaining early insight into these innovative and transformational projects, should seek us out at the event.”

Nathan Spencer, Managing Director at UKREiiF, said: “We are thrilled to welcome the Cumbria partners to UKREiiF 2025. Their participation underscores the importance of regional representation in driving investment, innovation, and growth. By securing this pavilion, they are taking a proactive approach to showcase their region’s unique strengths and opportunities, engaging directly with key stakeholders and potential partners. We look forward to seeing the exciting initiatives they will bring to this year’s forum.”

UKREiiF is supported by some of the biggest UK property and infrastructure companies. The fourth annual event will be held in Leeds on 20-22 May 2025. The forum will attract inward investment, generate economic growth, and drive a more sustainable and inclusive culture within the property and construction industries.
