The UK’s Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF) has announced that South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA) have secured a pavilion at the annual event taking place between 20th-22nd May 2025, in Leeds.

Under the leadership of South Yorkshire’s Mayor Oliver Coppard, the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA) unites the local authorities of Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham, and Sheffield. In collaboration with external partners, SYMCA is dedicated to unlocking the full potential of the region’s people, businesses, and communities, ensuring they thrive and prosper. SYMCA is committed to making South Yorkshire a premier place to live and work by advancing projects in transport, infrastructure, business growth, innovation, skills development, housing, health, and environmental sustainability, with a strong focus on achieving net-zero goals.

“I’m proud of everything we’ve achieved so far but our economy remains smaller than it should be and we need to attract more investment, expertise and businesses that will give our communities the opportunities to stay near and go far.

“That’s why this event is so vital; it’s an opportunity to engage with investors and deepen partnerships to bring industries and jobs to Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley and Doncaster.”
