Deka Immobilien has been granted planning permission for a significant renovation of 1 Old Jewry, a prime property located in the heart of the City of London. Savills and CBRE are handling the lettings.

The refurbishment will include around 69,300 sq ft of Grade A office space spread across the first to ninth floors and 5,000 sq ft of redesigned retail space.

The project features and impressive 3,200 sq ft roof terrace, accessible through a new pavilion on the ninth floor. The development aims to achieve leading ESG standards, including WELL Platinum, NABERS 5*, EPC A, and BREEAM Outstanding.

Refurbishment work is expected to begin in the second half of 2024, with practical completion projected for mid-2026. The professional team consists of Sheppard Robson architects, Ramboll structural engineers, Hilson Moran M&E engineers, and Savills project management.
