Firms are invited to apply for spots on the South West Wales regional contractors framework, focusing on public sector building and housing projects.

The new framework generation introduces specific lots for housing alongside value-based lots for building projects across the region. Carmarthenshire County Council, in collaboration with Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council, Pembrokeshire County Council, Ceredigion County Council, and Swansea Council, will utilise the panel of selected firms.

The framework, valid until 2028, will also be open to emergency services and NHS Trusts for constructing, refurbishing, and repairing buildings.

Eastern and Western Areas – Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, Neath Port Talbot, Swansea, and Powys

– Lot 5: £7m-£15m

– Lot 6: £15m-£25m

– Lot 7: Over £25m

– Lot 8 Housing: Up to £5m

– Lot 9 Housing: Over £5m

West Region – Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, and Powys

– Lot 1A: Up to £1m

– Lot 2A: £1m-£2m

– Lot 3A: £2m-£4m

– Lot 4A: £4m-£7m

East Region – Neath Port Talbot and Swansea

– Lot 1B: Up to £1m

Emphasis is placed on supporting small and medium-sized enterprises within the Welsh supply chain to bolster the local economy and employment. A significant focus is also on Net Zero and carbon reduction initiatives to address climate change, conserve resources, enhance energy-efficient buildings, and ensure long-term resilience in the construction industry.
