Moreover, the plan proposes a strategic evaluation of the town’s retail composition, with an aim to revitalise Fareham’s commercial landscape.Key to the strategy’s execution is the integration of Fareham’s key sites: the town centre itself, the Fareham Shopping Centre, and the Fareham Live events centre. Initial ‘quick fix’ measures propose vibrant, temporary installations to enliven pedestrian pathways, alongside seasonal attractions such as pop-up kiosks, enhanced public spaces, and interactive hoardings.The forthcoming cabinet meeting on Monday is set to formalise the strategy, setting the stage for a phased implementation plan that spans short, medium, and long-term goals. Additionally, five strategic ‘objectives’ focus on improving connectivity, leveraging Fareham’s intrinsic qualities, diversifying the town centre’s uses, enhancing aesthetic appeal, and establishing unique attractions.
