Officials from the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero have confirmed they will be attending the UK’s Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF) to talk about heat network zoning. The UKREiiF event is in partnership with Pagabo, and is set to take place between 21-23 May 2024, in Leeds.

Heat network zoning will give local communities the tools to accelerate the development of heat networks and ensure that more homes and businesses can have access to greener, cheaper heat. It also aims to significantly increase private sector investment in the sector by removing the barriers which currently limit the pace of developing large scale heat networks.

Officials from the Department will be in the exhibition hall to share early indications of what a heat network zone map might look like and answer any questions you have about heat network zoning.
