Greater Manchester has confirmed its participation with The UK’s Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF) for a third year. The UKREiiF event is in partnership with Pagabo and is set to take place between 21-23 May 2024, in Leeds.

As part of the new Manchester Invest Partnership’s year-round programme of activity, UKREiiF will act as a pivotal event for Greater Manchester’s public and private sector partners to engage with investors, developers, other local authorities and occupiers from across the UK.

Leaders from Manchester City Council and Greater Manchester Combined Authority will lead the delegation as it showcases the region’s bold ambitions for the future and current development opportunities in hopes of forming new, long-term partnerships.

Greater Manchester has secured The Canary Bar for a third year in a row, alongside Opportunity London, demonstrating the strength of collaboration between two of the UK’s leading cities. The space will act as a base for both regions to share their plans and opportunities with UKREiiF’s delegation of over 10,000 attendees as well as provide a space for meetings and networking for members of the partnership.

The Manchester Invest Partnership is coordinated by Marketing Manchester, the agency which champions the Greater Manchester region to both national and global audiences, encompassing investors, developers, visitors, and students. Their mission is to elevate the Manchester city region, positioning it as a premier hub for leisure, education, and commerce, all while fostering sustainable economic development and growth.

Speaking of their involvement in UKREiiF 2023, Victoria Braddock, Managing Director of Marketing Manchester said; “We’re excited to be attending UKREiiF 2024 this year alongside Opportunity London. UKREiiF is a fantastic opportunity for the Manchester delegation to meet potential partners and investors within the international real estate and capital investment market. Collaborating with Opportunity shows that two of the UK’s most influential regions can work together to build a stronger future and strengthens Greater Manchester’s status as a leading global city-region.

“Having launched a year-round place promotion approach under The Manchester Invest Partnership earlier this year, UKREiiF has become a highlight of Greater Manchester’s real estate and capital investment calendar. Over the last two years, it has provided an unrivalled opportunity for our public and private sector partners to talk to investors, participate in discussions, facilitate lasting relationships and discuss key projects that will be critical to the future of our region. We look forward to seeing what UKREiiF 2024 has in store.”

Keith Griffiths, Chief Executive Officer, and Founder of UKREiiF, said: “We’re pleased to announce that Greater Manchester will be joining us for the third annual UKREiiF event.

“UKREiiF has become a hotspot for announcing investment plans and signing commercially rewarding deals so we’re excited to allow the Manchester Invest Partnership to showcase the Greater Manchester region to possible future partners and investors.”

Led by the UK’s leading property events company Built Environment Networking and supported by some of the biggest UK property and infrastructure companies, the third annual UKREiiF event will be held in Leeds on 21-23 May 2024. The forum will attract inward investment, generate economic growth, and drive a more sustainable and inclusive culture within the property and construction industries.
