Wrexham University is inviting bids for a partnership to develop a 322-bed student accommodation facility at its Plas Coch campus. Interested parties have until 18 October to submit their proposals.

The project, estimated at £500,000, involves initial design and planning stages. A subsequent procurement process will cover detailed design, construction, and financing. Successful bidders may also have the opportunity to operate the new student housing.

The need for additional student accommodation is pressing. Wrexham University’s student numbers increased from 8,416 in the 2021-2022 academic year to 9,055 in 2022-2023. The planned accommodation will be located on the Plas Coch Campus, conveniently near Wrexham General Railway Station and the city centre.

This development might be a focus at forthcoming property construction networking events and real estate construction conferences in Wrexham, offering opportunities to connect with leading property investors and explore potential collaborations. The project is expected to be of interest at property investment events and construction business events in the UK.
