With just five weeks to go, team UKREiiF are working hard behind the scenes to deliver the best UKREiiF event yet!

UKREiiF 2025 is set to unveil an exciting new programme packed with fresh ideas, dynamic speakers, and in-depth discussions on the industry’s most pressing topics. But that’s not all, we’re levelling up the delegate experience, too.

From the launch of delegate Wi-Fi and a brand-new mobile app to convenient phone charging stations and water refill points across the site, we’re introducing a whole host of improvements to make your time at UKREiiF smoother and more enjoyable.

With all these exciting updates in the works, we asked the UKREiiF team what they’re most looking forward to in 2025…

Fahmida Nisa, Event Manager, is counting down the days until months of spreadsheets and email chains finally transform into a vibrant, real-world experience.

As part of our operations team, Nisa works closely with clients and suppliers to bring every detail of the event to life. She’s especially excited to see how our exhibition and pavilion partners will put their unique stamp on their spaces, turning concepts into captivating environments.

One area she’s particularly looking forward to is the F&B zone, which is designed to evoke the energy of a festival, it will be buzzing with a wide variety of food and drink options.

Beyond the event grounds, Nisa is also eager to see Leeds come alive with UKREiiF branding and activations, as the city transforms into a hub of activity with fringe events and takeovers throughout the week.

Andrew Battye, External Affairs & Content Manager, plays a key role on our content team, collaborating with partners to curate a programme packed with thought-provoking discussions and an all-star lineup of speakers.

What excites Andrew most this year is the spotlight on early career professionals. From Next Gen Speed Mentoring in the Wates Pavilion to Vistry’s Next Gen Takeover and YEP’s engaging sessions throughout the programme, UKREiiF is championing the next generation of talent. It’s all part of a wider effort to bridge the industry’s skills gap and empower future leaders in the built environment.

Jenny Henfrey, Event Manager at UKREiiF, is eagerly anticipating the moment the water pontoons come to life.

After months of meticulous planning, she’s excited to see this standout feature transform from concept to reality, creating a truly unique and vibrant space for clients to connect, collaborate, and soak in the atmosphere.

Matt Christie, our Director of External Relations and Event Programme, is most looking forward to the high level of political engagement happening on-site, and the major announcements set to come with it.

This year, UKREiiF will welcome seven ministers, two shadow ministers, and 15 MPs, many of whom are returning after attending as prospective parliamentary candidates in 2024. Their commitment to spending a significant part of their week at the event highlights UKREiiF’s growing influence as a key platform for national dialogue and policy-shaping in the built environment.
