The Sustainable Growth Pavilion is brought to you for the third consecutive year by the UK Business Council for Sustainable Development (UKBCSD) and is a key highlight of The UK’s Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF) 2024. It will bring together industry leaders, sustainability advocates, and innovative companies to drive positive change within the property and construction sectors.

Headline partners for the Sustainable Growth Pavilion include Sir Robert McAlpine and Sir Robert McAlpine Capital Ventures, who are proud to support the Pavilion for the second consecutive year. Joining them and UKBCSD is Prologis UK enabling a collaborative approach to address the challenges across sectors of building a sustainable future.

The Pavilion is set to captivate attendees with three days of engaging content and is the place to visit at UKREiiF for exploring the best practices and innovations in sustainable growth across finance, construction, property, energy and real estate. The programme will feature thought-provoking sessions, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, providing a platform for knowledge sharing and cultivating partnerships.

Jason Longhurst, Chair of UKBCSD, expressed his enthusiasm for the Sustainable Growth Pavilion, stating, “We are excited to be a part of UKREiiF 2024 and contribute to the development of a more sustainable and inclusive industry.

UKBCSD were one of the first organisations to commit to UKREiiF back in 2022.

Jason continues; “In its third year now, the Pavilion, previously named Beyond Net Zero, will continue to serve as a catalyst for meaningful conversations and collaborative efforts, driving positive change in the property and construction sectors. We look forward to meeting and networking with more businesses and organisations in 2024 looking for help and expertise with their sustainable development journey.”

Prominent figures within the industry and across politics are expected to make an appearance. Previous Keynotes have included Sir Andrew McAlpine, Chris Walker MP, CEO of Creative UK, The Mayor of Bristol and the Mayor of West Yorkshire.

Grant Findlay, Executive Managing Director Buildings, Sir Robert McAlpine, said: “Sir Robert McAlpine and Sir Robert McAlpine Capital Ventures are proud headline partners of UKBCSD’s Sustainable Growth Pavilion at this year’s UKREiiF. We look forward to joining conversations with industry thought leaders and contributing our own expertise on topical issues covering ESG best practices, the use of technology and efficiency through collaboration.

We will share real-life examples of delivering value to the clients and communities we work with. We believe UKREiiF is the perfect environment to forge meaningful partnerships that drive the solutions and innovation we need for a better future.”

Speaking on behalf of Prologis UK, Paul Weston, Regional Head, added, “It’s a great pleasure to support UKBCSD’s involvement in UKREiiF 2024. As a leading voice in sustainability, UKBCSD is a natural partner for Prologis UK, and we look forward to participating in a wide range of sessions within the Pavilion.”

Equans UK and Ireland, who joins as a session partner of the Pavilion, will contribute its expertise in providing low-carbon energy solutions, cutting-edge technical services, and transformative regeneration projects across the UK and Ireland.

Puma Property Finance is another session partner and will be leading a discussion on why we need more support for SME property developers. The flexible lender to the commercial and residential sectors will be pulling together a panel to highlight the pivotal roles that both public and private financial institutions can play to deliver a more resilient, sustainable and inclusive property development landscape.

The range of partner support this year further highlights the Sustainable Growth Pavilion’s commitment to fostering collaboration across multiple sectors supporting the built environment.

Keith Griffiths, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of UKREiiF, said: “We’re excited to announce that UKBCSD and partners will be joining us for the third annual UKREiiF event, taking place in May 2024.
