Tri7 has successfully purchased the Portswood Centre in Southampton. The deal, valued at £10 million, transfers ownership from the previous holder, Portswood Centre Ltd, to Tri7.

The Portswood Centre, a prominent retail and food and beverage hub, spans an impressive 28,315 square feet. This bustling complex is fully tenanted, boasting key occupants like Iceland and Pizza Hut. Its advantageous location, just a stone’s throw from St Denys train station, the leafy expanse of Southampton Common, and the University of Southampton’s Highfield Campus, makes it a coveted spot in the city.

Tri7’s acquisition aligns with their ongoing strategy to revitalise urban centres. The Portswood Centre joins the ranks of similar assets in the company’s collection, such as The Core in Leeds and the Mecca Bingo in Haringey, North London. These properties are part of Tri7’s broader vision to uncover and rejuvenate hidden potential in the UK’s property market.
