The London Borough of Redbridge is on the hunt for a private partner to bring a new community hub to life, alongside the development of adjacent land. This initiative aims to enhance the local community with a focus on the Seven Kings area.

Located in Ilford, the borough is offering a prime opportunity for developers to engage in a project that promises to bolster local amenities and housing. The project centres around a 0.71-hectare site, encompassing the Seven Kings Bridge Car Park, public conveniences, and a location at 672 High Road, Seven Kings, Ilford.

This development is not just about erecting a building; it’s about creating a hub of at least 1,800 square meters to meet the borough’s specifications. Upon completion, the developer will be granted a 999-year lease to operate the hub for a nominal rent, showcasing the council’s commitment to long-term community investment.

But there’s more to this project than the hub. The selected developer is also tasked with creating a mixed-use residential complex on the site, adding value and vibrancy to the area.
