Rangeford Villages, a provider and operator of later living communities, has exchanged contracts to purchase land on Allum Lane, pending planning permission. The company has already submitted a detailed planning application.

The planned development will feature 150 units, including one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, as well as two and three-bedroom bungalows. Additionally, the project includes relocating a local GP surgery with 13 consulting rooms, four virtual consulting rooms, a pharmacy, and teaching and training facilities.

This Elstree project is part of Rangeford’s expansion as demand for high-quality retirement living continues to grow. The development will adhere to Rangeford’s Integrated Retirement Community model, focusing on wellness with numerous amenities. Residents will have access to a fully equipped gym, spa, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, and exercise studio. Other facilities will include a restaurant, coffee shop, hair and beauty salon, treatment rooms, a dance and activity studio, a members’ lounge, a library, and a TV room.
