Birmingham is set to witness a transformative urban development as plans for the currently vacant Ringway Centre on Smallbrook Queensway are under discussion. The iconic building, which has been a part of Birmingham’s skyline since the 1960s, is poised for a potential makeover that promises to rejuvenate the area.

The proposed plans by Commercial Estates Group (CEG) envision the Ringway Centre being transformed into three modern towers. These towers are set to house a mix of apartments, a state-of-the-art cinema, a vibrant nightclub, and a variety of food and drink outlets, offering residents and visitors an enhanced urban living experience.

The new towers, as per the plans, would comprise 44, 48, and 56 storeys, with the development being carried out in three phases. In total, the project aims to introduce 1,750 new flats, complete with amenities such as spaces for bicycles, lockers, and scooters.
