The NUMA Group has officially entered the British market through a collaboration with the New World Hospitality Group, introducing NUMA Bloom at the site of the erstwhile Bedford Corner Hotel in London. This launch marks the debut of the digital hospitality platform in the UK, at a prime location in Bloomsbury, central London, housed within an 86-unit property at 11-13 Bailey Street.

This venture, guided by Knight Frank’s expertise, aims to revolutionise the guest experience by incorporating advanced NUMA technologies. These innovations will enable guests to perform a range of actions via their smartphones, including checking in and out, unlocking their room doors, and accessing NUMA’s digital guest services around the clock.

Philipp Rohweder, the NUMA Group’s director of real estate, expressed excitement over the expansion into London, noting the city’s status as Europe’s top tourist destination and its vibrant, diverse population. He highlighted the significance of establishing a presence in London Bloomsbury as a critical step towards NUMA’s goal of extending its footprint across all major European cities.

Dimitri Chandogin, president of the NUMA Group, shared the company’s aspirations for the UK market. He outlined plans for future growth within London and other major UK cities, emphasizing the ambition to innovate the UK’s accommodation sector and cater to the needs of the modern traveller. Chandogin revealed that the search is on for properties in key cities such as Brighton, Manchester, Bristol, Belfast, Edinburgh, and Glasgow, aiming to introduce a new era of lodging across the country.

The opening of NUMA Bloom signifies the NUMA Group’s presence in 15 European countries and 33 cities, managing over 5,850 units, thereby extending its innovative accommodation solutions to a wider audience.
