National Wealth Fund

The National Wealth Fund has announced its involvement with The UK’s Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF), which is set to take place between 20-22 May 2025, in Leeds.

The National Wealth Fund has £27.8 billion to deploy dedicated to advancing the UK Government’s strategic priorities. Its mission includes mobilising private capital to address critical challenges such as tackling climate change and fostering growth. In addition to investments, the Fund offers advisory and lending services to support local authorities in achieving their goals.

The organisation has secured a dedicated space at the annual event, providing a platform to host discussions, panels, activities, and networking sessions. With UKREiiF expected to attract 16,000 developers, investors, local authorities, and end-users, this space offers a valuable opportunity to connect with potential future business partners and foster meaningful collaborations.

Speaking of their involvement, Managing Director of Local Authority Lending and Advisory Lorna Pimlott said: “We’re delighted to be returning to UKREiiF in 2025 as the National Wealth Fund. Our panels and networking events held last year, as the UK Infrastructure Bank, were a great success and we look to build on that next year. Come and hear how we’re mobilising capital in support of the Government’s strategic priorities, and share with us how we can help remove barriers to finance between the private sector and local government”

Nathan Spencer, Managing Director at UKREiiF, said: “We are thrilled to welcome the National Wealth Fund to UKREiiF 2025. Their involvement highlights the significance of this forum as a platform for driving critical discussions and partnerships that align with the UK’s strategic priorities. With their substantial resources and focus on tackling climate change and fostering regional growth, the Fund’s participation will undoubtedly bring valuable insights and opportunities for all attendees.”

UKREiiF is supported by some of the biggest UK property and infrastructure companies, the fourth annual event will be held in Leeds on 20-22 May 2025. The forum will attract inward investment, generate economic growth, and drive a more sustainable and inclusive culture within the property and construction industries.
