This significant step forward will see the construction of a new council headquarters, a 130-room hotel, and 72 affordable one- and two-bedroom apartments, marking the beginning of a transformative 10-year masterplan for the area.The redevelopment project is set to inject up to £50 million into the local economy, with the creation of approximately 1,700 new jobs. The scheme will revitalize more than seven acres of Huyton’s town centre, replacing outdated 1970s council buildings with modern infrastructure designed to meet the needs of a thriving community.The council’s long-term vision includes subsequent phases of development that could add additional office spaces and up to 300 new homes. These enhancements aim to position Huyton as a vibrant community hub, attracting residents, businesses, and visitors alike.
