Fostering Dialogue and Exploring Investment Opportunities: S-PA at UKREiiF May 2nd, 2024 Mya Driver Sheffield Property Association, in partnership with SYMCA, is thrilled to announce an exciting series of events at this year’s UKREiiF in Leeds during the 21st – 23rd of May aimed at sharing insights and exploring investment opportunities for our region.On Tuesday the 21st, the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority kickstarts with the Regional Leaders Lunch at Glassbox (12 pm – 2 pm). This invite-only annual lunch will bring together devolved leadership and mayors from across the UK and senior local and government voices to share their ambitions and the challenges facing their places.Later in the day (4 pm – 5 pm), we invite you to join chief executives and leaders from across South Yorkshire at the Sheffield Drinks Reception, sampling some Sheffield Gin & Tonics, sponsored by S-PA, held at Stand E40 within the Exhibition HallThe following morning, on Wednesday the 22nd, we are hosting an insightful discussion on “The Economic Impact of Post-COVID Working Practices on our Core Cities” at the ARUP Offices (8 am – 9 am). This event will highlight our research report, commissioned by Sheffield-based Kada Research. This official Fringe Event will have guest speakers from the New York City Economic Development Corporation and UK cities. We are excited to join up with the Institute of Directors and our colleagues at the London Property Alliance to host guest speakers including Shravan Joshi MBE from the City of London Corporation, where he serves as Chairman of Planning & Transportation; Melissa Roman Burch, Chief Operating Officer at the New York City Economic Development Corporation; and Bridget Wilkins, Head of Adoption, Engagement & Innovation at the UK Government’s Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities.On Thursday the 23rd, Sheffield City Council will conclude the series with an invite-only Invest in South Yorkshire Breakfast at 2 Brewery Wharf (8 am – 10 am).
