The UK’s Investment Minister Lord Dominic Johnson CBE has been announced as a keynote speaker at UKREiiF (the UK’s Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum) set to take place between May 16-18th in Leeds.

The Minister of State will lead the Department for Business and Trade’s delegation, which are working to bring an international delegation to the UK to meet city leaders and those seeking capital to unlock sustainable and inclusive regeneration in their region.

His involvement will start on the first day of the event (16th May) where UKREiiF will host a private Investor Breakfast which seeks to connect investors and key developers together, before then delivering a keynote speech to open the conference proceedings.

Speaking of the announcement Nathan Spencer, Director at UKREiiF, said: “The Minister is a champion for economic growth and a green industrial revolution across the UK through attracting and retaining inward investment.

“We’re delighted to have his support for UKREiiF following on from Gerry Grimstone’s involvement in the inaugural year, it shows that the event is a key date in the Department for Business and Trade’s calendar, and now it’s down to us to ensure this key event helps not only to promote investment opportunities across all regions, but to also secure investment – there are examples of this from last year already and we can only hope that this continues.”
