Greystar has confirmed its involvement with The UK’s Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF). The UKREiiF event is in partnership with Pagabo and is set to take place between 21-23 May 2024, in Leeds.

Established in 1993 Greystar operates in the residential rental housing sector with a unique vertically integrated approach. They combine management, development, and investment aspects across international, regional, and local levels. This approach, coupled with their commitment to hiring top professionals, has fuelled their significant growth, and positioned them as a highly respected global real estate company.

Their integrated model allows them to maintain a strong local presence and add value at all stages of the real estate cycle. This is supported by a global reach that offers economies of scale, financial expertise, institutional-grade reporting, and strong capital relationships. Greystar’s extensive team of over 20,000 employees, led by an executive team with an average of over 23 years of industry experience, ensures a diverse perspective throughout their investment processes.

Greystar have secured a centre stage spot at The UKREiiF event on Wednesday 22nd May on the Bury Theatre stage, for their own session ‘Global Approaches to the Future of Housing’, where a group of international voices who are tackling housing growth differently in other countries, will explore and share insight into what the UK can teach and what it can learn.

Speaking of their involvement, Greystar Managing Director, Europe, Michela Hancock, said: “We’re anticipating engaging discussions at UKREiiF this year, around the vital role that Build to Rent will play in addressing the housing crisis, as well as what we can offer at our student accommodation at a range of price points. Greystar is very well-positioned to help alleviate the supply shortage with high-quality, professionally managed homes that consider the needs of local areas. We are committed to engaging with all stakeholders to ensure we make a positive impact on the communities we serve.”

Keith Griffiths, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, said: “We’re thrilled to have Greystar on board for a third year running! Greystar’s ongoing partnership and participation in the UKREiiF event marks a significant contribution to our mission of fostering international dialogue and innovation within the real estate sector. Their commitment to excellence and their unique integrated approach in the residential rental housing sector aligns perfectly with the core values of our forum.”

Led by the UK’s leading property events company Built Environment Networking and supported by some of the biggest UK property and infrastructure companies, the third annual UKREiiF event will be held in Leeds on 21-23 May 2024. The forum will attract inward investment, generate economic growth, and drive a more sustainable and inclusive culture within the property and construction industries.
