Greensafe New Droitwich Warehouse Acquisition May 30th, 2024 Mya Driver Kidderminster-based Greensafe IT Ltd has acquired a 60,000 sq ft industrial and warehousing unit on the Berry Hill Industrial Estate in Droitwich. This move is expected to create additional jobs, enhancing the company’s growth trajectory.Established in 2012, Greensafe IT Ltd now employs around 180 people. Chairman John Sansom highlighted the importance of the new warehouse for the company’s expansion, stating, “We provide a wide range of IT services to medium to large corporates, including refreshing IT assets, updating software, and managing office decommission and relocation.”Sansom added, “We are currently experiencing compound growth annually of 20 per cent plus, and this is being reflected in the growth of our workforce. The purchase of the warehousing facilities at Droitwich was essential to continue to service this growth, and the location, close to the M5 and the national motorway network, was an ideal site to support our future business requirements.”Greensafe IT Ltd, which is also expanding in Europe with a facility in Utrecht, Netherlands, aims to strengthen its operations both in the UK and abroad. Ian Parker, joint managing director of John Truslove, who advised on the acquisition, said, “We are very pleased to have advised Greensafe IT Ltd on this purchase – a considerable saving on the original marketed quoting price.”The vendors were advised by Charles Dauncey at agents Harris Lamb, while Stewant Coles at Thursfields Solicitors acted for Greensafe IT Ltd and Yasar Baz at Eddowes Perry & Osbourne for the vendors.
