Greater Manchester has confirmed attendance at The UK’s Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF), which is set to take place between 16 -18 May in Leeds.

The Manchester at UKREiiF Partnership, will be coordinated by Marketing Manchester; the agency that promotes Greater Manchester to a global audience as a place to visit, invest, meet and study.

For 2023 Greater Manchester will be joined by Opportunity London, and together will be taking over The Canary venue on Leeds Dock during UKREiiF. The space will be a hub for both regions to share their opportunities with UKREiiF’s delegation of investors, developers, other local authorities and occupiers.

Speaking of their involvement, Sheona Southern, Managing Director of Marketing Manchester, said: “We are delighted to be returning to UKREiiF in 2023. Last year we took a strong partnership to the pop-up pavilion at The Canary, and it provided a great opportunity for our partners to talk to investors, facilitate collaborations and bang the drum for Greater Manchester.

“This year is set to be even more exciting, with many significant developments and openings across the city-region. We hope to showcase Greater Manchester as a leading city for culture, innovation, sustainability, and investment, giving our delegation the chance to share their plans for the future of Greater Manchester and communicate to a wider audience why they should join the city-region on this exciting journey.”

Keith Griffiths, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of UKREiiF, said: “We’re thrilled to announce that Greater Manchester will have a significant presence at UKREiiF 2023! UKREiiF has become a hotspot for announcing investment plans and signing commercially rewarding deals. We’re excited to give Greater Manchester the opportunity to showcase the city-region to possible future partners and investors.”

Led by property events company Built Environment Networking and supported by some of the biggest UK property and infrastructure companies, the annual UKREiiF event will be held in Leeds on 16-18 May 2023. The forum will attract inward investment, generate economic growth, and drive a more sustainable and inclusive culture within the property and construction industries.
