Hospitality and Hotels: London Gold Care Homes CEO Secures £18.2 Million Financing to Acquire Delta Hotels by Marriott Heathrow Windsor December 9th, 2025 Mya Driver Gold Care Homes’ CEO and co-founder, Sukhi Gidar, has secured an £18.2 million loan from OakNorth to acquire the Delta Hotels by Marriott Heathrow Windsor, a 382-room hotel strategically located between Heathrow Airport and Windsor.The funding from OakNorth, a UK digital bank specializing in entrepreneurial and real estate lending, will support the acquisition of the hotel, which features 19 meeting and event spaces accommodating up to 400 delegates, leisure facilities, and multiple food and beverage outlets.The acquisition represents a diversification for Gidar from the care home sector into mainstream hospitality, leveraging more than 25 years of experience in UK property and operations, and building on the successful expansion of Gold Care Homes to dozens of sites serving thousands of residents.The hotel’s location positions it to benefit from strong demand from corporate travelers, airline crews, conferences, and leisure guests, particularly as Heathrow passenger volumes in 2025 are expected to surpass the record levels set in 2024.
