Housing & Residential: South West Gloucestershire 42 home development set for planning approval September 16th, 2022 Mya Driver Plans for a new housing development in Ashleworth are expected to go before Tewkesbury Borough Council’s planning committee next week.Outline planning permission for a 42 home development off Rectory Close in the village was approved earlier this year, and now developers are awaiting sign off for the site’s reserved matters application.As well as the residential scheme, proposals show an area of open space for public use to the south eastern corner of the site.At least 40 per cent of the homes are earmarked for affordable housing.A pre-meeting planning officer’s report states the scheme is “acceptable in terms of access, layout, scale, appearance and landscaping”.
