Global Holdings Management Group has successfully completed a £290 million refinancing of the landmark Sea Containers building on London’s South Bank. The senior term loan, structured as a green financing facility, has been provided by a consortium of leading international lenders: ING, SMBC, and BayernLB.

The facility underlines Global Holdings’ commitment to sustainability and will support the ongoing investment in Sea Containers, ensuring the property continues to deliver premium office accommodation while meeting the highest environmental performance standards.

Located on the River Thames, Sea Containers is one of London’s most recognisable riverside buildings, renowned for its distinctive architecture and mixed-use offering that combines prime office space with hospitality and leisure. The property remains a focal point of the South Bank market, attracting leading occupiers from across industries.

Recent leasing activity demonstrates continued demand for the scheme: global management consultancy Analysys Mason took 7,811 sq ft in July 2025, while accountancy and advisory firm CFGI has also joined the occupier roster.
