Firth Steels, a leading name in the steel manufacturing industry, has officially announced its strategic partnership with The UK’s Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF), which is set to take place between 21-23 May 2024, in Leeds.

As a renowned steel manufacturing company, Firth Steels has a long-standing commitment to delivering high-quality products and solutions that cater to diverse construction and infrastructure projects. By being involved with UKREiiF, Firth Steels aims to enhance its presence in the market, connect with influential industry leaders, and actively engage in critical discussions surrounding the future of the built environment.

Speaking of their involvement, a spokesperson from Firth Steels, said: “As a renowned and established building envelope manufacturer, Firth Steels has a long-standing commitment to delivering high quality products and systems to the commercial, industrial, logistic and distribution industries

By being involved with UKREiiF, Firth Steels aims to connect with industry leaders who share our passion to drive the market in a positive direction. Firth Steels looks to actively engage in critical discussions surrounding performance requirements, sustainability, LPCB and fire safety.

Our mission is not only being world class in supply chain and manufacturing efficiency and capability – it means having soul and passion and caring for the environment.

More than that, and in addition, Firth Steels is dedicated to being different.

This means changing the established norm in terms of supply attitude and approach. We work with world class leading mills and establish our own pre-painted steel products – these we can supply with recycled EAF substrate which drops our embodied carbon – this range will be specifically named and branded (watch this space!)

By December this year, we will have an on-site battery system, fed by several on site solar systems plus, if required, renewable grid supply. This means we can roll-form for several hours off grid, fed by stored energy. Not only can we manufacture your projects “off grid”, but we can manufacture with energy completely fed from the sun at our state-of-the-art facilities in Brighouse.

If you combine that with the EAF substrate-based steel products, our mission is bold, clear and backed by innovation and investment. And this is just the beginning……. there are other plans to take this even further.”

Keith Griffiths, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of UKREiiF, said: “We’re pleased to announce that Firth Steels will be joining us at UKREiiF 2024. We’re looking forward to giving Firth Steels the opportunity to showcase their business through meetings with potential clients over the course of the three-days.”

Led by the UK’s leading property events company Built Environment Networking and supported by some of the biggest UK property and infrastructure companies, the second annual UKREiiF event will be held in Leeds on 21-23 May 2024. The forum will attract inward investment, generate economic growth, and drive a more sustainable and inclusive culture within the property and construction industries.
