Diagonal has confirmed its involvement with The UK’s Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF). The UKREiiF event is in partnership with Pagabo and is set to take place between 21-23 May 2024, in Leeds.

Diagonal specialises in geospatial data science and visualisation, offering consultancy services powered by their software. They excel in comprehending extensive and sensitive datasets, transforming complex scenarios into interactive visualisations. Their focus is on aiding data-driven planning and providing advice through collation, analysis, and visualisation of information. Their flagship products include Bedrock, an open-source platform for advanced spatial analysis, and Privacy Enhancing Technologies that enable the utilisation of sensitive data for public benefit.

They also have plans to launch a new data visualisation platform aimed at simplifying spatial analysis at The UKREiiF event in May.

Not only have Diagonal secured a spot in the UKREiiF exhibition hall, where over 10,000 developers, investors, occupiers, and local authorities will visit over the three days, but they have also taken a centre stage spot on Tuesday 21st May in the Barton Suite, where they can utilise the space to host their own panel discussion.

Speaking of their involvement, Veronica Barbaro, Principal Planner at Diagonal, said: “We are excited to be taking part in this year’s UKREiiF. This is a key event for Diagonal: the launch of ‘Skyline’, a new place-based data analysis and visualisation platform which we have been developing over the past year, working closely with a number of UK Local Authorities. We look forward to showcasing it, making new friends and exploring collaboration opportunities.”

Keith Griffiths, Chief Executive Officer, and Founder of UKREiiF, said: “Diagonal is set to be a pivotal participant in the third annual UKREiiF event. Their expertise in harnessing data to reimagine and improve urban landscapes is not only innovative but crucial in our rapidly changing cities. Diagonal’s skill in weaving compelling stories through advanced data science and visualisation tackles intricate city systems, from environmental elements to economic patterns. Their commitment to transparency, responsible data use, and urban rights aligns perfectly with UKREiiF’s ethos of promoting sustainable and inclusive urban development. We are keenly anticipating the launch of their Skyline platform, expanding our capabilities in planning, design, and stakeholder engagement.”

Led by the UK’s leading property events company Built Environment Networking and supported by some of the biggest UK property and infrastructure companies, the third annual UKREiiF event will be held in Leeds on 21-23 May 2024. The forum will attract inward investment, generate economic growth, and drive a more sustainable and inclusive culture within the property and construction industries.
