Industrial: Yorkshire Citivale and Partners Group Secure Approval for Third Logistics Unit at Greenbox Thirsk October 16th, 2025 Mya Driver Citivale and Partners Group have secured planning consent for a third logistics unit at their Greenbox Thirsk development, marking a major milestone for the 52-acre sustainable industrial scheme in North Yorkshire.The new approval covers a 182,000 sq ft Grade-A logistics unit, adding to Greenbox Thirsk’s existing two facilities of 365,000 sq ft and 272,500 sq ft. This brings the total masterplan to approximately 820,000 sq ft across three buildings. The third unit will provide high-specification, BREEAM “Excellent”, EPC A-rated, and Net Zero performance in both operation and construction, reflecting the Greenbox platform’s strong ESG commitments.Greenbox is a joint venture between Citivale, a York-based asset manager and developer, and Partners Group, a global investor in sustainable industrial real estate. The Thirsk site is located near the A1(M) and A19, offering excellent transport links to Leeds, Manchester, Hull, and York.Infrastructure such as access roads and landscaping is already in place, enabling potential delivery within 12 months. The project builds on Greenbox’s previous success in Darlington, where a 408,000 sq ft Net Zero logistics hub was completed in early 2025, demonstrating the scalability and sustainability of the group’s model.
