The scheme has been carefully planned to support a cross-generational community and help meet significant unmet housing demand in the area.The development aims to provide more than just housing, with a strong emphasis on community amenities, green infrastructure, and sustainability. Planned features include:Co-working spaces for home-based workers and small businesses Walking and cycling routes to encourage sustainable travel Orchards, allotments, and play areas to support healthy, outdoor lifestyles A new one-form entry primary school Provision for an additional bus route to supplement existing servicesPhase One of the project, approved in late 2023, granted consent for 109 homes.
