Sweden-based clean energy-tech company, Aira, has launched its operations in the UK, committing to invest £300 million over the next three years to expedite the decarbonisation efforts.

Aira’s objective is to cater to five million households across Europe, including one million in Britain, by offering affordable clean energy-tech solutions to phase out gas consumption.

The company asserts that its initiatives will slash the UK’s CO2 emissions, equivalent to removing two million cars from the nation’s roads. UK households are expected to save over 55% on energy-related expenses, encompassing product investment, while simultaneously reducing CO2 emissions compared to existing fossil fuel alternatives.

Aira aims to make this transition accessible and cost-effective, offering an all-inclusive plan, a 10-year comfort guarantee, and a 30-day order-to-installation commitment, all without any upfront costs.

To accelerate its growth trajectory, Aira is establishing two Aira Academies, one in London and one in Yorkshire, aimed at training a multitude of clean energy experts. This endeavor aligns with their goal of serving one million UK homes and cultivating a workforce for the clean energy industry.

Martin Lewerth, CEO at Aira Group, commented, “The UK is a crucial market for decarbonisation, being one of Europe’s most populated countries and with the lowest heat pump penetration rate of just 1%. We are excited to introduce Aira’s innovative home energy solution in the UK, and we are confident that our offering, including substantial consumer cost savings, no need for lifestyle changes, and a zero upfront payment model, will be well-received. We are here to accelerate the important transition from dirty gas boilers to clean heat pumps.”
